Departure from Marrakech at 8:00 am towards Toubkal which is located at an altitude of 4176 m. It is the highest peak in all of North Africa. In the middle of the slope we meet houses of old earthen villages. The road to Imlil via Tahanaout and the Moulay Brahim gorges reveals a breathtaking mountain landscape with Berber villages scattered along their peaks. Each village is nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in the form of stairways, making for fascinating architecture. The road passes through Asni, a Berber village in the heart of the Atlas, administrative center and market for the local populations of the surrounding mountains. Lunch in Asni. Drive to Aremd Circus, a verdant area at the foot of a red rock village on top of an ancient glacier blocking the entire valley. Continue all the descent along a mountain stream then along a small irrigation canal under the walnut trees to Targua Timoulay. After that, our journey is over in the village of Imlil, we return to our vehicles and drive back to Marrakech at the end of the day.
